His rule #4. says to breathe only thru your nose to “reduce the amount of muscular activity to produce a note”. Maybe it is due to my nose physiology but I can not get enough air fast enough thru my nose to play long phrases. Is this a common problem?

Using the relaxed open throat I can, at times, reach D flat 8va below staff.
