I’m taking your Windworks course. I’m struggling with the high notes as usual. Please what does playing in the red mean. Are we playing on the fleshy inside of the lips or on the red/pink on the outside of the lips….the part where I would apply lipstick?

Also, I’m learning to play with an upper partial plate that means I am bothered by a thick and deep piece of steel behind my front teeth. I’m getting used to that ..sort of, but I find my tongue vibrates as well as my lips when I play. Will this be helpful when trying to play high notes? I play with the tip of my tongue behind my bottom front teeth which I was doing before these lessons . I’m wondering if this will help in playing high notes. I find I struggle with it. I find that some days I can reach a high C but it is difficult and inconsistent and I notice I’m pressing hard on the lips, especially the bottom lip which gets very sore. How did you overcome pulling your bottom lip back against your bottom teeth.
