Well……with all the reading of various thoughts about how to play this new way and trying to find an easier way to play above the staff I would say I have failed. Greg, you are wonderful but I’m afraid I give up. I need to simply get back to playing the way I used to play. I could play to a b flat above the staff and once in a blue moon I could get out a C above the staff. I believe I play with a good tone…have been told so and I want to go back to playing the best way I know I can. Some of the things I learned in this course have definitely but the time has come to stop torturing myself and get back to having fun. At my age time is passing far too quickly and being happy has always been my goal in my retirement years. I have nothing to prove and will go back to playing in fun and with pride for what I CAN DO. It has been a rush and I thank you all for sharing your ideas and experiences. Greg you are amazing!! Thanks for your help. 😅
