<p>I learned his method during the last two years. Today I am able to play hours. My range improved incredible up to high g.</p>

<p>I recommend to concentrate on the idea of aaaaaoooo and the feeling of milk spout.</p>
<p>With that movement ( horizontal) you can learn to play from nonote to low note and pitch change.</p>

<p>The idea of the feeling and using of your top lip is the bedsheet.<br />
The top lip reacts on the airflow.</p>
<p>You have to learn and practice the feeling of aaaaaaoooo to change the pitch first.</p>

That will give you mor and more a good relaxed feeling to play a passive low c<br />

My advice for you is be patient and repeat the basics of MtM every day.<br />
And continue with playing in your swing band. By the time you will automatically play higher notes also<br />

maybe your tongue is to stiff &#x1f914;<br />
Do you know flutter tongue?( see my post)<br />
If yes you can loose your tongue more and more with that.<br />
There is a second exercises I know specially for the tongue.<br />
It is called Belcanto. It is a tongue exercises without trumpet.<br />

<p>I made the experience that when I blow the tissue my airstream direction was with milk spout more straight then without.<br />
I think the bottom lip is more relaxed while playing with milk spout<br />
and for me it is easier to control the corners.<br />

<p>maybe you can try the following.<br />
After backswing breath release the air through the trumpet as if you like to play a note.<br />
At the beginning Only air until it flow like water after open a water tap.<br />
Than try to bring the lips slowly together until sound appears.</p>
<p>Maybe that can help you to get a feeling of a singing low c.<br />
