      Hi Greg,
When i play with a simple release of air without pushing with abdominals i can’t play above G sharp (above the staff). The A above the staff don’t speak. Is it normal? Until what grade can we play without engage the abdominals muscles?
      Cheers!

Stick with it, it is possible my friend. It is symptomatic of other issues that the Singing C will undo. Step 1 and 6 are PASSIVE, can you get to the G doing those? How are the fast soft harmonic slurs of step 6? Cheers, Greg

Yes, i can do it with G on the staff very easy. It is with A above the staff that the problem is. So my question was when your simply release the air, without the help of the abdominal muscles, what is the highest note that you can play approximately (it varies a bit depending on everyone I guess). For me, for the moment, it’s A ABOVE the staff (not in the staff); the G# above the staff speaks relatively easy, although the volume is very low, but after it’s over, the A don’t go out without pushing a little. So for you, what is the highest note you can play by just releasing the air?
      Cheers.

PS: I apologize for my English a little approximamative. I should say very easily (and not very easy).

Your English is wonderful my friend. The body need not be involved all the way up. See other thread. Cheers, Greg
