      Hi!
I’ve noticed that after three weeks in the slur challenge (practicing almost every day…) I have to push in the main tuning slide, in order to keep me on 440 Hz. I have adjusted from approx. 16 mm to only 12 mm. Anyone more with the same experience??

This sounds like a tighter system was leading to sharper notes that have now flattened with relaxation by working through the course. I interpret this to be good news.

      Thanks Eric.
That’s might be the positive reason

Hey Bo, I totally agree with Eric. I don’t want to speculate without seeing your gear but 16mm is too much and 12mm is much closer to the norm. As Eric said, a tight setup will send you sharp so oyu are compensating with the tuning slide. The #wihsc forces you to “let go” so loosening off will send the pitch lower.

      Cheers, Greg

Thanks for the comments. I’m aware of my old habbit of pinching. The #wihsc will most probably help me to a more optimal setting.
      🙂
