      Hi Greg,
Sometimes I have to play with a mute when it’s late and not to annoy the others. Then, despite everything, can I still enjoy the exercises by playing with a mute?
      Best regards.

Hi Frank, practice mutes are a necessary evil sometimes unfortunately. They are a last resort of course because of the perception of sound and the back pressure and tuning instability they offer. However playing is always better than not playing. A cheaper option in the Shmute and the more exy version is the Yamaha silent brass. Cheers

You should try this mute. I got one recently and love it. It’s not perfect, but there is so much less back pressure than a normal practice mute.

@wjtakacs Is this mute available online? If so, from where and how much? Thanks!
