Thank you very much, Ronald, for your good advice. I certainly will do the hygiene steps that you advise. Living in the UK, and with no private medical insurance, I went to Hungary to have the implants, for about a quarter of the cost of UK dentistry. I’m sure what I ended up with is about as good as it’s possible to get, and the dentist had 25 years of experience with implants. I have retired and no longer have the income to go and have them seen to. However, I have found a product called Iglu, which coats the injury and numbs it, also speeding up the healing.

I think I must train myself to be very mindful, and if I’m eating, not to do anything else at the same time.
