    maybe your tongue is to stiff 🤔
    Do you know flutter tongue?( see my post)
    If yes you can loose your tongue more and more with that.
    There is a second exercises I know specially for the tongue.
    It is called Belcanto. It is a tongue exercises without trumpet.

    I made the experience that when I blow the tissue my airstream direction was with milk spout more straight then without.
    I think the bottom lip is more relaxed while playing with milk spout
    and for me it is easier to control the corners.

    I think it depends what is your aim.
    Since one year I practice only thinks when the aim is clear in my head.
    After playing it helps me a lot to reflect by myselfs.
    During a session I practice one exercises / part in a piece etc. only some minutes than I go to the next. Maybe later back

    maybe you can try the following.
    After backswing breath release the air through the trumpet as if you like to play a note.
    At the beginning Only air until it flow like water after open a water tap.
    Than try to bring the lips slowly together until sound appears.

    Maybe that can help you to get a feeling of a singing low c.
