    Hi Greg
A couple of weeks ago I joined a post called Jaw Position. I explained my problems. You never answered this. I think you were on your tour. but anyway maybe you read it now and may give me a hint if my overbite problem is not really a problem or you have a solution I have overseen in this big amount of information you give along the…[Read more]

Hi Greg, hope you are doing well on the tour
I join tomismemnoch and Paul with the jaw issue. I am working in the premium level on the e until g and I think caused by my overbite my lower lip goes a little bit under my upper teeth when I try to produce the f, fsharp and g. I have no idea how to work on. I now ask you is this because I am only half…[Read more]

Hi rwcarson11. Now I got it, I just upgraded to the Premium level and there is a link for a pdf download of the Mtm book. I think I have no access to the files, that’S it. As you said I probably don’t need the files, since the course has it all. I can use the pdf just for remembering some things offline.
    Thanks a lot

Thank you rwcarson11. I use the windows 10 edge browser on my laptop. But I cannot open anything on the right sidebar with the little triangles, neither with a left click nor a right click. Do you use a different pdf viewing Programm like adobe or so or do I understand something totally wrong?

  • Hi everyone out there, can you give me a hint how to find the mp3 examples in the mtm book 1
It is written they were to find at the navigation bar, but I have a downloaded pdf file without any such a bar.

    Thanks a lot

  • Hi Greg, thanks for your reply. I needed your statement that lip slurs are the trickiest thing in trumpet playing because I am already 59 and thats why I am a little bit impatient. I will take your advice and take my time, doing it slower and just wait for the day it will go easier. As I wrote, sometimes I can do it and than the other time it wont…[Read more]

  • Hi Greg and all the others.
I am a beginner to the trumpet and work on lip slurs. I have a basic question since the course here is on being aware of the moments when over exerting kicks in. As a bloddy beginner I have no idea what happens the first month or years in the learning process. What happens to me in the last 4 weeks is, that I can…[Read more]

  • Hi Michael, thanks for your words and advice. Yesterday I couldn’t even play the harmonic slurs and stopped my practice. Than I found your reply here. That matched exactly. I am really happy having found the MTM course. Good to hear from you that it was the right decision to join.

  • I must correct something, I practice on the largo and adagio level, not andante.

  • Hi Greg thanks again for your reply
Aside following the instructiones of the largo and andante level I try to improvise with the few tones which I can already play in the lower register and try to play simple melodies and that’s what I sometimes feel on one day to play nice and clear and on the other day I think the trumpet is clogged or the tones…[Read more]

  • Hi Greg thanks for your reply. I play sometimes golf in holidays in the US. But it is too little to really progress. In Switzerland you must be a member and that costs a fortune. So I hope to progress on he trumpet. I have another question, the short time now that I practice I noticed that somedays I cannot even produce tones half so clean as the…[Read more]

  • Hi Greg and all the members here. I am 59 and a boody beginner to the trumpet. I play jazzstyle guitar for 20 years, but when I listend first to jazzmusic I began to love the sound of the trumpet, but found it somehow very difficult to play. Two month ago I decided to give it a try and bought a trumpet and I could get a sound out of it much…[Read more]
