      A quick question about lesson “Largo C# Singing C – Step 2”.
      Can you explain what’s meant by “play The B AND E on 7th Position”?
      It was my understanding that the 7th position is with all valves pressed down?
      Also the pentagram shows Gflat then G natural followed by C natural, which are normally played in the open postion…

      Could you clarify?

      I believe that the notation you refer to involves the exercise in base clef, if played with a trombone. The first treble clef specification of the exercise for the trumpet would utilize all three valves pressed down.
