Once I feel like I’ve got the Largo Stage working pretty well and I want to start the Adagio stage, should I work all of the Largo exercises (each day) before starting the Adagio ones?

I have been doing this for Largo + Adagio but now I’m venturing into the Andante stage and it feels like a lot (too much) for one sitting.

Should I just start my daily work with the Andante section now and skip the first two?

Good question, Bill. I believe the idea is to use ‘earlier’ sections as warm-up for the later sections. So I pick certain exercises with which I still have trouble as the warm-up ~10 mins (usually in the lower range), and then dive into the later sections on which I’m currently working. I try to keep the total time of each practice session to around 20-30 mins.

I like that idea, @eggsaseggs. By minimizing repeats and maybe skipping some keys, that should get me into the zone before working on new stuff. I don’t like skipping pipe buzzing these days.
