How funny. I lined up four mpcs today, cause I’m still confused about which might be best for me right now. A Monette B2 (88!), a Yamaha 16c4gp, a galileo M6C and a standard bach 1.5C.
The Bach was the surprise. Tone, range and ease of playing was the best on that…

Yeah. This is great.
I got taught to play the mouthpiece, and my sound was devastatingly bad. In the end I gave up playing altogether.
I practiced really hard on the mouthpiece. Thank goodness I’ve stopped. And I’m so relieved that I don’t have to play the mouthpiece anymore, and am sounding (and feeling) better. Much better.

I’m interested in this too. I have a few practice mutes and can’t play at just any time of the day… I also have the Silent Brass system (mk1)… I feel like it’s a lot more work and I’m wondering what I can do to compensate. It feels like it throws my normal practice out for sure…

I know the book and have done the meditations. One thing that strikes me having done it for a long time is how important the actual technical methodology is to accompany it.
